Hints for unlocking music in Runescape
You will come across a large amount of music while traveling in Dungeon. An easy to unlock the tracks of one sort is to enter a room first, then leave the room, and then re-enter as a randomly selected track is always played. Dungioneering music is always usually upbeat and gives a better sense to the game play.
Jagex once posted a blog of Dungeoneering development on YouTube saying there are all together three types of music tracks: Ambient, Combat, and Boss. Ambient music is "slightly ominous to give a sense of suspense." Combat tracks "get the blood racing" with ambient tracks playing as the last monster in the room is killed. Boss music is similar to Combat music.
Here are four tips for unlocking music:
? All Glacialis tracks are unlocked on the Frozen floors, all Desolo tracks are unlocked on the Abandoned floors, all Adorno tracks are unlocked on the Furnished floors, all Occulo tracks are unlocked on the Occult floors, and all Torqueo tracks are unlocked on the Warped floors.
? All five themes will have 10 possible music tracks to unlock not including the 6 Boss-specific tracks in each theme.
? Every time you enter a room with an enemy in it, the music player will randomly select a track. If the room is repeatedly entered and exited, you can unlock these music tracks very quickly.
? All bosses have their own music, so if you want to unlock them quickly, you should do small dungeons with the guides. If the room before the boss has monsters in it, there is a glitch where it will not unlock the music track.
